About The Mire Deep

  • The Mire Deep started as a jam band with Oli White on the Drums ex Radio daze, Minus Society and Joe McGee guitar/vocals ex Stonerwitch, Volume Death Riot jamming riffs and ideas for a few months then joined by Jack Redhead who Added more dynamics and volume and song writing capabilities. And so from these early jam sessions you can hear the tracks we recorded at Carlos Santana’s zoo studios darkness of light, deadcult, left for dead.

    The Mire Deep was also shortly joined by Tom Scott on vocals ex Hurt season vocalist but unfortunately due to certain circumstances Tom had to leave the band

    With influences as diverse as the Dead Kennedys to Godflesh from the Minutemen to Burzum The Mire Deep create crushing riffs with fierce volume and a chaotic edge resulting in a fresh thunderous sound.
